• A Free Suite at Intercontinental Century City

Posted on May 5, 2012 by in IHG, Intercontinental, Priority Club

This past weekend the Mile Monsters made a quick little trip to Los Angeles to see Coldplay at the Hollywood Bowl. When we bought tickets 6 months ago I started looking for hotels. I stumbled upon an Executive Suite at The Intercontinental Century City on Kayak for $100 less than the Intercontinental asking price of $650. Since IHG’s new Best Rate Guarantee gives you your first night free no matter if your reservation is for only one night we were well on our way to a free suite in Beverly Hills. The hotel was great and as an Intercontinental Ambassador they upgraded our Executive Suite even further to one with a HUGE balcony and two smaller balconies. Parking is $33 and the restaurant is expensive so in the end we settled our bill for $105. However I did earn over 3000 Priority Club points as the incidentals counted as a stay credit.

    I love Priority Club.

Priority Club’s BRG can be found hereĀ http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/ihg/hotels/us/en/global/customer_care/bwc_lp

You can fill out the form online or I find it’s best to just call them. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Meaning if you book an advance purchase rate that it’s an advance purchase rate on the competing site. Sometimes IHG can get kind of picky with these BRG’s so chances are you will win some and lose some.
